Voronoi Lamp
thingiverse
A Voronoi sphere is a specially designed spherical surface. The mathematical description of the structure comes from the Ukrainian mathematician Gregory Voronoy. Voronoi spheres can be used to design attractive lamps. Depending on the lamp socket, you can design pendant lamps, wall lamps or floor lamps with Voronoi spheres. The model in the photos were printed using the SLS method. FDM may work as well, but a lot of support structures will be needed, and given the fragile structure of the lamp shade it is probably tricky to remove the support. The hole in the bayonet socket has a diameter of 40mm and is suitable for most E27 lamp sockets. It should be possible to unscrew the lamp socket so that the bayonet can be fixed in place. In the same way as for a pendant lamp, the bayonet socket can also be mounted on a wall socket. The wall socket must have a cap that can be unscrewed from the front.
