<p>I wanted a version of <a href="https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:946001">the original</a> where I could print the leaves flat/without supports, which means they had to be separated from the base.</p><p>To make them fit in the base again I extruded the leaves down a couple mm, so they sit like tabs inside recesses/slots in the base now. I thought it best to make the base solid to accomplish that.</p><p>Each slot is 0.3mm longer and wider than the tabs, which I found made them snug but removable. This worked for me for both PLA and PETG but let me know if it doesn't work for you. You can glue the parts together to make sure they don't fall out but hey, modular napkin holder!</p><p>I widened the base slightly too. If you print using PLA you can go a lot cooler which might reduce cleanup time. I used standard quality resolution and a 0.4mm nozzle.</p><p>I printed one leaf at default settings and then changed some things for the second leaf, which didn't seem to make much of a difference.</p><p>Leaf 1: 240°F, 80mm/s speed, 5mm retraction, 45mm/s retraction speed.</p><p>Leaf 2: 220°F, 40mm/s speed, 1.2mm retraction, 35mm/s retraction speed.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Category: Kitchen &amp; Dining</p>
