Updated: July 16, 2020: Finalized the model with added images of the printed product. After completion, I immersed the model in a (PLA) IsoPropyl Alcohol bath to smooth out its surface. I placed the model in a tub and added some alcohol; then resealed it. Periodically, over a 4-hour period, I sprayed the upper part of the model with alcohol and left it overnight. After removing the model and letting it dry for several days, I was very happy with the results. Updated: July 3, 2020: (Lamp D) I added a separate collar file to fix an issue with the voronoi file that allowed insertion of the globe at the bottom. I also standardized the neck (see below). I printed this model without a raft; however, if you have any issues with adhesion, I recommend using a raft (I use an AnyCubic glass plate on my Tevo Tornado). This model will print in one piece (except for the collar), but it's slow on the Tevo (5 days). I created a separate collar because all future lamps I make will use this as a standard, and it suits the fittings I use. I'm making several lampshades to fit out my house. A voronoi ball lampshade based on separate "orange peel" wedges. Dimensions: diameter approximately 280mm Collar center diameter: 26mm suitable for a standard lamp fitting The voronoi only file is provided here if you want to add your own collar (STL). Test Print @ 180mm Diameter: It takes about 85m of filament and 36 hours to print at 0.2 resolution. Full Print @ 280mm Diameter: It takes about 275m of filament and 5 days to print at 0.2 resolution.
