VORON Switchwire Deck Panels
prusaprinters
I made myself 3 mm thick printable deck panels for VORON Switchwire, since I did not have immediate access to acrylic and did not like other forms (like kartonplast). Model was made from original DXF file available on GitHub. I added a little decoration on the top in form of hexagons - because, well, it's a VORON 🙂 Model is split into 3 parts to make it printable on Prusa MINI or similar 180x180 mm sized printer. Bigger printers could possibly print it in 2 parts instead. Then parts can be glued together or put onto something which holds them from the bottom. What I did, was getting 2 mm thick Hobbyglass panel, roughly cut to the shape, and then added 1 mm thick printed panels on top of that (it was just cut in slicer to make it thinner). It all holds and fits together nicely. To print right panels, simply mirror objects in slicer.Dimensions are adjusted to work in 0.2 mm increments.Since prints are pretty big, ensure your bed adhesion is good to avoid warping.Alternatively, print on your favorite textured sheet and flip them to get grainy texture on top.VORON Design https://vorondesign.comVORON Switchwire Github page https://github.com/VoronDesign/Voron-Switchwire
