Voron compatible Prusa X carriage

prusaprinters

The titla says it, this is an x carriage that allows you to use the Voron toolhead ecosystem on a Prusa. The carriage has been modified from the Voron Legacy x carriage.

You will need Bear x ends to use this - https://github.com/gregsaun/bear_extruder_and_x_axis

I repeat, stock x ends will not work because of the belt path. If you use stock X ends, your x moves will be nonlinear.

BOM :

all parts from this, printed in ABS or ASA (PETG should work too)

all parts for the Voron toolhead you want to use - depends on which one you want, refer to the Voroon sourcing guide

one M3 hex nut

two LM8LUU bearings

one M3x6 screw

seven heatset inserts, the same kind that is used on all Voron parts (M3x5x4)

three M3x40 screws

two M3x30 screws

two M3x20 screws

two M3x16 screws

a PL08 or PL05 inductive probe

one M2x12 screw (you can reuse one from your Prusa kit)

IMPORTANT UPDATE

Make sure you print the x carriage and x ends in the same material. This helps prevent misalignment, increasing axis precision and prolonging bearing and rod life.

Licensing and attributions:

Licensing on this model is a bit complicated. The cable tail has been reused without modification from the Skelestruder project : https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2845416

Thus, the tail is licensed under Creative Commons - Attribution.

The rest of the models are licensed under GNU GPL v3.

The x carriage has been modified from the Voron legacy parts : https://github.com/VoronDesign/Voron-Legacy

I would also like to give credit to the Afterbearner (https://www.prusaprinters.org/prints/54545-afterbearner-the-prusa-bear-afterburner) which is basically the same thing. My aim was to recreate what was done there, but without changing the X ends and with cleaner, easier to edit cource files.
