Voron 2020 bed support mounts
thingiverse
I designed these parts to mount a print bed on a frame made from 2020 aluminum extrusions in my Voron 3D printer. The system consists of three components: * Linear bearing holder: These are created to fit snugly with LM8LUU bearings using press-fit technology. If the holder won't fit properly, adjust the hole dimensions accordingly. For added stability, a piece of steel wire can be used to secure it in place. The bracket ends are designed to align with the grooves in the bearing, effectively locking them in position. These holders can be mounted either direction and four should be made. * Z leadscrew nut bracket: This part is designed to fit standard nuts, but can easily be customized to accommodate other sizes. Like the linear bearing holder, it can also be mounted either way. I chose to mount mine upside down due to my leadscrews being a bit too short. Two of these brackets should be made. * Bed support brackets: These components attach to one side of the 2020 rail and have a hole for bed support screws/posts on another side. If you're using thumbscrews, you may need to adjust the size of these brackets slightly. Four of these should be made (if you're using four-point support), with two potentially needing to be mirrored. Note that the bearing and z-nut brackets must match each other's dimensions. Since the center of the steel rods and leadscrews are in the same plane on a Voron, these brackets have been designed with the face of the 2020 extrusions 15mm from that central plane. If you change the z-nut bracket for a different size, adjust the bearing holders accordingly to maintain balance.
