Voron 2.4 jig for magnet hole drilling on Z assembly
thingiverse
I ordered aluminium parts for my Voron 2.4 which didn't come pre-drilled for mounting the magnets required by hall effect endstops. I made this jig in order to get the best position possible of my drilling, according to the actual printed parts Simply slide the Z piece in the jig, and use a 6mm metal drill. Depending on your skill and magnets, the magnets just press fit, or may be a little loose. In the second case, apply some loctite to hold the magnet in place. Print lying flat on bed. Supports are already integrated in the STL, and may need to be cut on the top underside. It worked for me without cutting them, they provided a spring effect to hold the part in place. Enjoy your prints!
