Voron 2.4 Cabinet Exhaust Filter
thingiverse
This is a remix of the project submitted by rubi007. This is a very minor remix of a very good design. When I downloaded the files Cura hung up and wouldn't slice the grill file. I ran the files through Blender and found that the grill (part with all of the holes) had many intersecting faces. After trying to correct these faces I finally deleted the grill portion and filled the frame with a simple design. The file would then run through Cura. The second file, the filter holder, I examined with Blender and found 4 non-manifold edges that I repaired. This file is 99.99997% or more identical to the original file. The remaining files (A,B,C,D) are a Heim joint to hold the filament tube. Assemble the joint using superglue and use a short piece of tube as a jig to hold the two halves of the sphere in alignment. Once the glue is set, sand the sphere slightly to insure smooth operation and glue it in the center of the remaining two pieces. Do not glue the sphere in place as it should rotate freely. The entire assembly can then be press-fit into the center hexagon of the exhaust grill.
