Voron 0 Mini Afterburner Cowling Dragon 30x30x10 Fan

<p>Voron 0 /0.1 Mini Afterburner mod of the Cowling for Dragon hotend to use a 30x30x10 Fan.<br>&nbsp;</p><p>I had a 30x30x7mm fan failure after about a month of use from my Voron kit. It was difficult to source a replacement 30x30x7 in a timely fashion. However I did have a bunch of stock fans from E3D V6 which were all 30x30x10mm in either 12 or 24V.<br>&nbsp;</p><p>Using the Fusion 360 model of the Voron 0.1 the following were copied to a new project</p><p>-[a]_Cowling_LOGO_ONLY_Dragon_x1</p><p>-30X30X7 DC fan -1</p><p>-Dragon_Hotend_v6-1<br>&nbsp;</p><p>I was able to use the fan as a template and extrude the opening, and then open the fan hole to 30.2mm to allow enough clearance for the fan. I tested with a couple Raspberry Pi fans, and the E3D fans I had and their dimensions were between 29.89 and 30.02mm. These were able to be insert in and out with minimum effort.</p><p>30x30x7mm also worked in my test fitting, this could allow for custom fan shrouds.</p><p><strong>Requirements:</strong></p><p>2 x M3x15mm screws to mount fan</p><p>**2 x M3x20mm if using the ADXL345 mount through the fan found here:</p><p>https://www.printables.com/model/124728-voron-v0-mount-for-adxl345<br>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Print Settings:</strong></p><p>-use same walls/perimeters, and tops/bottoms as stock Voron parts</p><p>**with exception add support touching bed</p><p><strong>Install</strong></p><p>-Remove support material over the mounting holes. &nbsp;Small pin may be required to knock out the material in the holes</p><p>-place fan in through the opening use the same orientation from instructions of Voron manual for cable management</p><p>-use M3x15mm screws to mount fan &nbsp;(I used course threads in my build)</p><p>&nbsp;</p>
