Voron 0 Feet replacement or extension
prusaprinters
I wanted the LCD 12864 mod for my Voron 0.1, but I didn’t want to reprint all the extra side skirts, and corners (I was running low on my main colour). I redesigned the 2 front corners to blend the mod into original skirts, however the screen would bottom out on the desk. The temporary work around was to have the screen hang over the edge of the desk, but long term was to change the feet.I present replacement feet, and extension feet. The replacement feet are 17mm tall, and the originals were about 8.9-9mm. Both options add an additional ~7.5mm to the height of the printer.Skirt/Corner mod can be found here:https://www.printables.com/model/216239-voron-0-front-feet-12864-lcd-modRequirements:Replacement Feet-3x6x0.5mm shims or washers (I had extras from my Voron 0.1 build) I noticed the original feet had a washer at the bottom of the screw hole. This could be optional depending on your needs. I did put them in.-Original M3 screws that are used in the corners. These were already pretty long, and I didn’t have any thing longer available. So the design reuses the screws.Extension FeetThese don’t require any additional hardware, print, and put in the screw openings.**Please note I have not tested this directly on my printer, but came up with the idea after designing the replacement feet. I went through a few iterations to fit the stock feet I had. You may need to scale to fit your feet. Additionally I can’t not verify longevity of the extension feet, this will depend on a lot of factors.Printing:I went with a fairly hard TPU(label had faded I would guess it is a 95A), and 100% infill.Print quantity is 4, for which ever model you go with. The orientation is larger part of foot to your bed.**I would suggest print one extension foot first to test fit.Instructions:Extension feet are print, and insert into screw openings of the original foot.Replacement feet start with inserting shim/washer into opening use a suitable screwdriver to push shim/washer to the bottom. Remove old feet, reuse screws on replacement feet.
