When I wanted to mod my Dr!ft racer and give it a new chassis, I had to create a solution to hold the front-wheel axle. In the original chassis, there are two parts that make sure that the wheel cannot move too much to the left or right. So I created this thing that you can glue into other 1:43 model car chassis to replicate that function. I had to rasp mine a bit so it fitted into the car but that was expected. I created it a bit larger on purpose so it will fit (with some manual adjustments) in many different cars. I also designed it such that it requires no support and can be printed on fdm printers.
