8/22/2018 Update - Both sword and shield objects will benefit from DLP printing, which offers superior detail. Note that accessories contain more intricate details than originals, an artistic choice based on full-scale props. The shield bubble can be printed but would work best from a casting or by pouring blue-tinted resin into it. Update - I'll load these models into Fusion 360 for tolerance testing and investigate replacing plastic pegs with hardware to address strength issues. Details will be refined to accurately reflect the actual toys, although each lion takes around 20-30 hours of work to replicate engravings and ensure functionality with parts. Future models will be made as printable replicas of my personal originals. 1:1 scale replica lion parts for Matchbox Voltron cats are available, but they won't function as replacement parts for existing models. I might create such if there's a demand. Pegs must be glued or set in place. Movement restrictions are applied to the front legs like in actual toys and re-pegged parts. The rounded top pegs are for feet, while others support upper legs. Parts should print on most any printer with minimal clean-up and separation required. More part remixes are coming soon. Blue lion details are currently non-functional due to issues with body separation but I aim to upload a fully working version with a raising back panel and head panel, as well as a back key allowing for eventual black lion fitment.
