Von Kármán Ogive Nose Cone

A previous project of mine was a von Kármán ogive rocket nose cone model. Its features included a 4" base radius, a fineness ratio of 2.5:1, and an overall length of 10". The von Kármán ogive is a type of Haack-series ogive contour with minimal drag for specific dimensions, particularly beneficial in the transonic speed range (0.8-1.2 Mach). This model's base had bolt holes around its circumference for aesthetic purposes but can be modified as desired. The nozzle's size is adjustable by changing the constants R and L in the contour spline equation. Additionally, I created a YouTube video explaining the nose cone and construction details, along with a tutorial on making an example.
