Volvo XC90/V90/S90 Console Organizer
thingiverse
The center console of my Volvo XC90 is not exactly roomy, serving mainly as a hole between the front seats where things tend to get lost with other clutter. I decided it was time for organization so I designed my own cubby organizer. Using Tinkercad, which I need to learn more about, resulted in a somewhat rough design. However, it fits perfectly. To achieve this fit, I printed several drafts because the console's dimensions are far from perfect 90-degree angles. My cubby has slots for full-size and small loyalty cards as well as quarters, dimes, nickels, and pennies. There is also a larger section that holds my pepper spray and tissue. Additionally, I added cable tracks on either side of where the USB ports are in case you need to route a lightning or USB cable. I highly recommend using PETG for printing so it doesn't melt in the hot sun. The print took 37 hours with PETG at 0.15 accuracy and 30 hours at 0.20 accuracy, which proved sufficient. This cubby was designed specifically for my T6 model year 2017 XC90 without a center console CD unit. If you have a T8 model, your console is more shallow and this will likely not fit without modification. UPDATE: I cleaned up some of the geometry in my design. I also bolstered some weak spots and removed an accidental shelf under the large card holder that required unnecessary support material. UPDATE: A friend at the local Volvo dealership confirmed that this cubby fits perfectly in the V90 Cross Country and S90 consoles.
