Volvo XC60 Magsafe Holder
thingiverse
The magsafe is a decently tight fit, but I would still advise to use really thin tape underneath it keep it held down. Like scotch double side tape or scrap book tape. I used thin tape from an adhesive tape dispenser for like envelope sealing.History on Creating ItGot sick of my XC60's wireless charger not charging my phone with big cases or the phone getting absurdly hot. Seems its a common problem and Volvo doesnt even sell cars with wireless chargers anymore evidently. So I figured out how to make use of the "sliding track" for the wood cover to make a bracket to shove a magsafe charger in its place with 3d printed parts.I did it this way because my car is a lease and its up in June so there is no adhesive on the car parts to leave a mess or issues. I ended up making clips that wedge into the groove then click into the magsafe bracket.Currently the magsafe just gets held in via pressure from 3d printing it precisely but it still comes up sometimes so I am going to add seom very thin "glue runner" adhesive from a dispenser such as the type for "white out rollers". It should make it sticky enough and not ruin the whole slimness vibe I tried for.
