My factory-made shifter knob snapped, and Volvo takes great pride in their synthetic leather and plastic grip - a $100 luxury. So, I took matters into my own hands and crafted my own. It prints in three seamless pieces and performs flawlessly. I opted for a 30% infill rate with customized supports within S3D to achieve the perfect balance of strength and speed. To secure the top section to its base, I used a dash of CA glue, but a grub screw I had on hand proved to be the perfect lock, holding everything in place with ease - although the friction fit would likely suffice without it.
