Volvo Key Case for ca 99-04 keys & V40 S60 V70 Key Ring

Do you have an old Volvo S/V40 S60 or V70 key where the key grip has become sticky and not so nice!?\r\n\r\nHere's a Key cover I created to get rid of the tacky, discussable rubber like material on these keys.\r\nI believe these keys are from somewhere around the 99-04 year models.\r\n\r\nYou'll need to remove the rubbery part of the key.\r\n-Use pliers with good grippy jaws to pinch the rubbery stuff off the hard inner section of the key.\r\n-A knife can also be used to notch your way in to the core. (Be careful!)\r\n\r\nOnce the hard inner section is free, you'll need to sand the flat sides a little to get the key flat and slim enough to fit inside the cover.\r\n\r\nI made the cover as thin and tight as possible without having to modify the key too much.\r\n\r\nOnce the key fits in both halves, place it in there and push the two halves together.\r\nIt's an interference fit.\r\nI haven't glued my keys in so far, and I've been using one of them daily for a couple of months now without any issues.
