I created a custom Volvo crankshaft seal tool specifically designed for a 47x35x6mm seal. After testing, it worked flawlessly! The printer I used was a CR-10s, which printed this tool with a layer height of 0.12 mm. Temperature settings included a hotend at 210°C and a bed temperature at 75°C, while the print speed was set to 40 mm/s. To achieve precise measurements, I had to file and lathe the inside of the tool slightly, as the printer didn't quite hit the mark. Here are the specifications for this custom seal tool: Inside diameter: 35.1 mm Outside diameter: 36.1 mm Step height: 6 mm Total diameter: 47 mm Total height: 60 mm To use this tool effectively, simply press the seal onto the top surface, then place it over the crankshaft and push it firmly into position using a large nut.
