This is a DIY repair part designed specifically for Volvo 480 front seats. The original seat rest knob on my car had stopped functioning due to cracked plastic and loose fitting on the axle. To address this issue, I created a simple yet effective repair kit that seamlessly integrates with the existing knob. This innovative solution not only preserves the integrity of the original component but also extends its lifespan by providing a secure fit around the axle. **Key Notes** I have successfully tested and printed this repair kit using PLA, and the results are impressive - the fitting is excellent, and it works flawlessly for me. To achieve a strong bond between the repair kit and the original knob, I used a high-quality adhesive. To ensure optimal performance, I recommend printing with 100% infill. While I initially printed mine in PLA, ABS would be an even better choice due to its superior durability.
