Volvo 480 - belt arm repair
thingiverse
Belt arm repair part designed specifically for the Volvo 480. The end of the arm features a small plastic rod that tends to break easily. I have created two new rods with a simple yet effective design in mind: drill out the broken one and glue in a new printed one in its place. There are two versions available: 1. seatbelt_extender_repair_half_v1.stl: This is the version I used when only the tip of the rod was broken. To repair it, cut off the damaged part and then drill a 5mm hole into the base of the rod. Finally, glue in a new tip. 2. seatbelt_extender_repair_full_v1.stl: If the entire plastic rod is broken, use this version. You'll need to drill a larger 7mm hole into the base of the belt arm and then glue in the new rod. Note: This repair part is designed for earlier 480 models, but I plan to create one for later models as well.
