Volvo 240 Armrest Cupholder
thingiverse
A replacement cup-holder for the front armrest in a Volvo 240. The armrest is a relatively rare option that I managed to track down at a junkyard, where I found one that was partially intact, although the cup-holder itself had been broken off. I took on the challenge of rebuilding it based on the remains I had on hand. For those who may need a smaller version, I've included a downsized model that measures just 20cm in length, as my printer has a maximum limit of 30cm for the full-sized part. This design requires one small screw with a head diameter of approximately 4mm to serve as a stop and prevent it from being pulled out completely; there's an indent at the bottom where you'll need to drill a hole for this screw. You will also need to fabricate the wire pieces that hold the bottom section in place, using a coat hanger that is only slightly larger than the original wire; these components must be bent into perfect shape to allow for smooth movement and free swinging.
