Volumetric pump

This project, created by me and a student years ago, features a rotary pump with a volumetric mechanism. The unique design includes an inclined axial roller bearing, enabling the five pistons on the rotor to move in an oscillatory motion. Although not our original invention, we calculated resistance and flow accurately. In those days, we used AutoCAD 2D for modeling; now, SolidWorks offers a vastly superior understanding of potential interference between pistons.
