A custom voltmeter holder designed specifically for use with Fischertechnik's cassette bottom is now available. The voltmeter itself, a versatile and reliable device, can be sourced from Adafruit: https://www.adafruit.com/product/575. Mill-Max's connector pins, essential for this project, are also available from DigiKey: https://www.digikey.com/product-detail/en/mill-max-manufacturing-corp/0390-0-15-01-08-27-10-0/ED5034-ND/158196. Any solid connector wire will suffice for running the negative and positive lines between pins, making it easy to complete this project. The default measurements worked well on my printer but can be adjusted as needed to accommodate variations in printer or filament type.
