I design this Dual voltmeter as a cost-effective way to take simultaneous readings of circuits with DC-DC converters that have one voltage input and another output. As I've included some features to make it more expandable for use in various testing and design operations. It can be powered by the same line you're testing, or if this line doesn't provide enough voltage to power on the voltmeter module, you can give it power from a separate source using the specific Vin input. In all cases, all Grounds are connected through the same path; be careful when working with specific sources that may be affected by this configuration. If one of the test lanes has sufficient power to run one of the modules, the other module will always receive power. Bill Of Materials: I'm not receiving any profit from using these modules, so buy them wherever you like; I purchased mine on AliExpress, but you can find similar modules on other popular websites that sell cheap electronics components. The 4mm banana plugs are also very inexpensive and easily found in the same pages. The clip probes are generic ones; you can make your own custom probes or use crocodiles, BNC adapters to connect with oscilloscope probes (which provide interesting X10 and X100 voltage reduction capabilities, allowing you to measure high voltages with this 30V module). You'll need: * Four metric 2x6mm screws to hold the displays in place * One metric 3x6mm screw to secure the back plate * Six banana plugs * Two cheap voltmeter modules * Two rectifier diodes from the 1N4xxx family * Some electronic retention wire * Wire wrap * Heat shrink tube This project is an all-purpose tool, but it does require some soldering skills and working with small components in a confined space.
