Accurate, high-definition Volkswagen Type 2 Samba model from 1963 features a highly detailed interior fully textured. Headlights and taillights are intricately modeled, allowing doors to be opened freely. An open and closed version of the roof is included, along with modeled tires. Most parts of the model were created using advanced SubDivision/TurboSmooth surface techniques. This means users can easily adjust resolution and smoothness of the surface in 3D software like 3dsMax or Maya 2013. If importing the lowest-resolution .obj, .fbx, or .lwo version into a 3D software that supports SubDivision surfaces, users can also change resolution and smoothness easily. The base model has 900341 polygons. For other software packages that do not support SubDivision surfaces, the model is available in three different resolutions, ranging from 900341 to 5544254 polygons. Max 2010 Format: TurboSmooth is applied, allowing users to set object resolution as desired. Simply use the Named Selection Set TurboSmooth to select SubD objects and the Named Selection Set interior for the interior. The doors are animated for realistic movement. Maya 2013 Format: A selection set for all SubDivision surface parts is included, making it easy to change resolution. A display layer for the interior is also included, allowing users to hide it if needed. Maya 2008/FBX/Cinema 4D 9.6/Lwo 6.0/Obj/3ds Format: The model is available in three different resolutions, with interior and exterior saved separately.
