Volkswagen Samba. There's a script available to transform tris to quads, specifically tailored for this model, but also compatible with any other model as an extra feature. You can access the retopology model script by running it (instant meshes bridge + instant meshes). This script creates a direct connection between 3ds max and instant meshes, allowing you to export, remesh, and import objects without leaving the max interface. The parameters for this process are set within a dialog box. Installation is straightforward: simply run the script from any location (Maxscript -> Run Script…), or create a macroscript using Macroscript Creator to add it to your toolbar, menu, or quadmenu. The first time you run the script, it will prompt you for the location of your instant meshes executable – this only happens once unless you reinstall max or remove the executable from the path.
