I recently purchased new rubber floor mats for my Volkswagen Polo 4, but unfortunately, I made a critical error in my selection - I bought the ones with the wrong pre-stamped hole that fails to accommodate the locking mechanism designed specifically for these mats. This post is an effort to troubleshoot and potentially find a solution to this issue, which might also prove useful for owners of other vehicles.
