I redesigned this Volkswagen Lug nut/bolt Hex caps/covers with a thicker, solid, non-slotted barrel to solve the problem of broken originals during installation. Initially, I encountered issues when trying to print the original designs in ABS, which led me to create a modified version. The additional feature of removing the Volkswagen logo from the face was also incorporated. I would like to thank Halfingr for providing an excellent original design that served as inspiration for this project. Furthermore, I added a solid version of Ghiotto's outstanding hex design. Print Settings Printer Brand: Wanhao Printer: Wanhao Duplicator i3 V2 Rafts: No Supports: Yes Resolution: .2 Infill: 50% Notes: .1 wall thickness .1 top/bottom thickness. 5% support density touching build plate. Printed in black ABS @ 245° with a quick 1hr print time.
