For this product, there are three different 3dsmax files included. "Set" is an uncollapsed file where you can make changes to the model. "Hipoly" is collapsed to hipoly with all modifiers history cleaned up for trouble-free use at other programs. "Studio" is a file with all rendering setups used to create the preview renderings.
