A highly detailed Volkswagen Beetle is available in a very high definition Ultima Edicion model with interior fully textured. The headlights and taillights are precisely modeled, while the doors can be opened freely. Modelled tires complete this accurate rendition. The majority of the model was created using SubDivision/TurboSmooth surfaces. This feature allows users to easily adjust the resolution or smoothness of the surface in 3dsMax or Maya 2013. If you import the low-resolution .obj, .fbx, or .lwo version into a 3D software that supports SubDivision surfaces, you can also change the resolution or smoothness with ease. The base model, without smoothing, contains 937483 polygons. For other software packages that do not support SubDivision surfaces, the model is available in two different resolutions ranging from 937483 to 4212674 polygons. In Max 2010 format, TurboSmooth has been applied so users can set the object resolution as desired. Simply use the Named Selection Set "TurboSmooth" to select the SubD objects and the Named Selection Set "interior" for the interior. The doors are animated for a more realistic experience. In Maya 2013 format, a selection set is included for all SubDivision surface parts, allowing users to easily change the resolution. A display layer for the interior is also included so it can be hidden if needed. The model is available in multiple formats: Maya 2010/ FBX/ Cinema 4D 9.6/ Lwo 6.0 / Obj/ 3ds. It comes in two different resolutions, with the interior and exterior saved separately for flexibility. Previews were rendered in 3dsMax using VRay.
