The highly detailed Volkswagen Beetle Deluxe model from 1951, with its intricately designed interior, features fully textured headlights and tail lights. Doors can be opened on this accurate high definition replica. The model includes tires that have been precisely modeled. Most parts of the model have been created as SubDivision/TurboSmooth surface, allowing easy adjustment of resolution/smoothness using 3ds Max or Maya 2013 versions. Importing the low-resolution .obj, .fbx, or .lwo version into a compatible software that supports SubDivision surfaces allows further resolution/smoothness modifications. The base version of the model (unsmoothed) has 771,766 polygons. For software that doesn't support SubDivision surfaces, two different resolutions are available, ranging from 771,766 to 3,489,936 polygons. The Max 2010 format comes with TurboSmooth applied for easy object resolution adjustment. Doors are animated in this format. Maya 2013 format includes a selection set for SubDivision surface parts and a display layer for the interior. In Maya 2010, FBX, Cinema 4D 9.6, LWO 6.0, or OBJ formats, the model is available in two resolutions, with exterior and interior saved separately for flexibility. Previews were rendered in 3ds Max using VRay; however, VRay materials and light settings are not included.
