Volks Dollfie Neck Plug

I'm trying to stabilize my Super Dollfie's neck hole. The rubber friction pad keeps bunching up and makes her neck sag. To fix it, I fill in the neck hole with a plug. This helps prevent the pad from creasing. To insert the plug, I pull out the elastic hook and slip it underneath. Unfortunately, I only have one Super Dollfie, so I'm not sure if this method will work for all head molds, like Rapunzel's.
