Quick copy of the Volcom Stone Snowboard Stomp Pad set, lost one of my originals.\r\n(Top Centre in photo is Volcom origional)\r\n\r\nThis was a Polycarbonate Test (Hobby-king black PC)\r\nEnclosed Stock CR-10 (with some mods In marlin flashed to allow High Temps and Mesh levelling) \r\nNozzle 0.4\r\nExtrusion Multiplier 1.0\r\nRetract distance 5mm\r\nRetract speed 30mm/s\r\nBed temp 100\r\nHot-end 280 first layer, 275 for rest of build\r\nTop and bottom 4 layers \r\nOuter shells 5\r\nFirst Layer 91 %\r\nCooling 0\r\nLayer Hight 0.2\r\nInfill 30% Fast Honeycomb \r\nPrint Speed 40 mm/s\r\nSupports 0\r\nSimplify 3D\r\n\r\n\r\nUsing Stock CR-10 Hot-end with Capricorn Bowden tube.(Best upgrade you can buy) \r\nTuned Stock Power Supply to 13 Volts ( see youtube for this stock mod it will allow your \r\nheat-bed to heat quickly and achieve 100* Plus)\r\n\r\nI Don't see any reason Why PLA or ABS would work for this. It would be defiantly easier \r\nthan printing Polycarbonate. Its a short build so bump up your infill.\r\n\r\nBecause it was pollycarbonate I had slight curling on the narrow end which I had to sand out, precision is not necessary on a stomp pad.\r\n\r\nNotes on Polycarbonate : \r\nVery hard to stop shrinkage \r\nDefiantly need a heated chamber (mine is not hot enough yet)\r\nTough as F&*K so get it right the first time because sanding theses little Doodads flat was \r\nhard work on a belt sander. Really this stuff is Super Strong !!!\r\nHigh Glass Transition Temp\r\nAmazing material if you Dial it in !\r\n\r\nShred !
