I needed a holder for all my dongles in one convenient spot. After just a few minutes spent on OnShape, I had the perfect design. This versatile holder can hold various small items that tend to accumulate near 3D printers. To bring it to life, I printed with wood-fill pla, but you can experiment with any material that suits your needs! Print Settings: Printer: Rafts: Don't worry about it. Supports: None required. Resolution: .35 Infill: 30 Notes: I opted for a slightly thicker layer height for speed, but feel free to adjust the settings to suit your preferences. Post-Printing: My first wood-fill stain experience was enlightening. To truly showcase the wood-fill's natural beauty, everyone recommends staining it, and after this print, I understand why! The subtle imperfections created by a brush stroke make the wood effect even more convincing. For this project, I used MinWax Red Oak wood finish to bring out the full potential of my design.
