Volcano Nozzle Box
thingiverse
I've remixed Sadhaka's nozzle box once again, this time with a Volcano box as I'm now heading in that direction. To begin, print his tolerance test first; I've included it below. Over extrusion won't work well with print-in-place hinges, so be aware of that. With my 0.8mm nozzle, a resolution of 0.2mm worked perfectly, but I suspect a smaller nozzle would produce even better results, especially for lettering on both sides of the lid. Three-by-five millimeter magnets are used and press into place with channel lock pliers - make sure they're facing the right direction as they can be difficult to remove once pressed in. The notch on the lower right magnet is a good reminder of that. Nozzles thread into place using the wrench linked below, but after the first time, they fit snugly by hand due to their loose thread. This ensures they don't fall out if the box is turned upside down.
