Volcano Hotend Silicone Sock Mold, for 24mm Volcano Heater Block - [STL File & Instructions]

This is a download for an STL file AND instructions for a mold to cast cheap silicone socks for your volcano hotend! It fits the common 24mm volcano heater block size (double check yours just in case). This is a mold to cast a silicone sock fitting the common 24mm-type Volcano Hotend heater block. It is very easy to use and assemble, and includes vent holes. The mold is assembled with 12 to 16mm M3 screws, and requires NO extra hardware. The holes are perfectly size for easy self-tapping. All else you need is 2-part silicone and something like a syringe to inject the silicone into the hole. For rubber, I personally use Smooth-sil 945 or Mold Star 31T by Smooth-on. They seem to hold up fine to hotend temperatures.
