VOLCANO E3DV6 direct drive for CR10 / ENDER 3
thingiverse
This is a remix from the Petsfang bondtech direct drive. I created this because I needed a direct drive for my Ender 3 with the Ed3v6 + Volcano End. I couldn't find a version that kept the original extruder. You'll need approximately 65mm of PTFE (you can adjust the extruder height slightly). I recommend using PETG or ABS, but you can use PLA (I haven't tried it yet). Print the Drivinator with a minimum of 50% infill (gyroid is strongly recommended) and a 2mm wall thickness. All credit goes to David Petsel for the original Petsfang. Important Note: A new version will be published in a few months, featuring an extruder motor located at the back of the printing head. This design balances mass and eliminates wave patterns on printed parts. However, it requires a pancake stepper for autohome functionality on the X-axis. To work with a pancake, filament must travel smoothly and easily through the nozzle due to pancake motors being weaker than standard ones mounted on the Ender 3.
