The original design principle had its merits, but it wasn't quite suited for the Volcano hot-end. A redesign was necessary to accommodate Volcano's unique requirements and enhance airflow at exit points through the addition of ribs. To optimize the model's performance, the fan mounting face should be positioned flat against the bed. By doing so, the design can effectively leverage its intended function. Printed in PLA, this revised model functions impressively, with potential for even better results when printed in ABS.
