This is a critical component that securely attaches the wings to the fuselage. To enhance its durability, I have revised the design with reinforcements in mind, considering the inherent weakness of 3D printed parts compared to their original counterparts. By repurposing this component for camera mounting purposes, I have positioned it at a level where a standard 1/4" BSW screw, measuring 1/2" long, is securely fastened. To maximize its effectiveness, I recommend printing this part using resistant filament like nylon or Taulman Alloy910. Additionally, installing wide washers under the screws will help distribute stress evenly, ensuring optimal performance and minimizing potential damage.
