VOID9 Macropad
thingiverse
The VOID9 Macropad is a handwired 3x3 pad that utilizes a Pro Micro as its controller. Two versions of the top case are included, one flat and the other featuring a 4mm fillet. There are two versions of the bottom case available, with one being flat and the other at a 5 degree angle. A comprehensive handwiring guide has been created for this macropad. The same principles used in this project can also be applied to larger projects, such as the VOID40. The required materials for assembly include: 4 M3x10 allen head screws for securing the bottom/top corners (13mm overall length, 5.5mm diameter head) Hot glue is used to secure the Pro Micro to the bottom case The STL files and a QMK fork that contains a basic keymap and experimental VIA Configurator support can be found on Github. More information about this project can be accessed through the link provided. Recent updates to the project include: April 14, 2020: The outer wall thickness around the screw holes was slightly increased. March 16, 2020: A small inner fillet was added.
