Betrayed and used as colonizatory cannon fodder by the world's governments the inmates rebelled against their jailors and seized their technologies. Part of that technology was a powered suit of armor able to whitstand the cold void of space. It's bulk and versatility paired up with added strength augmented a lot of the brutal tendencies of a rebelion. Soon after establishing the colonies for themselves, these suits became synonymous with power as many new local governments and small settlements relied upon them for protection. Whole warbands of bandits armed with this armor clashed with peacekeepers and new world's militaries forging the armor's bloody legend amongst the stars. This kit is my attempt at creating my own set of power armor that owuld have almost the same versatility of the olden [REDACTED COMPANY NAME] kits with better proportions and added bulk. I tried to somehow divorce them from the [REDACTED COMPANY NAME] marines by giving them their brutalist nature borrowed from Unreal Tournament 2004's Juggernauts armor which always gave me chills when they arrived, and as well as incorporating some of the brutalist simplicity of the Quake slipgate marines or Quake II's Light Guards with an added edge of Starcraft's Terran Marines who would adorn their armors with paint for personalization and to better suit their own natures. Instead of the regular finesse and flair you could expect from [REDACTED COMPANY NAME] Marines, the Void Marines are people who engage in battle with the full might of their bulk. The kit is compatible with [REDACTED COMPANY NAME] marine parts though shoulder pads with additional rims might have problems fitting under the shrouds of the heavier variant. It comes with ranged options for three kinds of machine guns (regular, box magazine one and a scoped version of Light with an extended stock) as well as pistols and axes for close combat encounters in different poses. Backpacks come in one and two light versions. The torsos and legs are separate but for those who prefer pre-posed bodies there are combined ones for use. The heads, both male and female are all inspired by either UT2k4 Juggernauts or by Quake so you should find something to your liking in their midst ;) Enjoy!
