Bird Box / Tit box for blue and fir tits 28mm entry hole, for great tits you have to enlarge the hole to 32 mm. I used beech and oak flax in a thickness of 18mm. I milled the moldings a little thinner so that they don't look so bulky. Milling cutters used: Cylinder 1.8mm (for the holes) 90° V-groove cutter (for engravings and grooves in the log house style) Cylinder 6mm (for the contours) Cylinder 10mm (to finish the trim) Since I only have a 3-axis milling machine, I chamfered the two roofs with the circular saw 30°. I marked the holes with the 1.8mm cutter and then drilled through with the drill. I chamfered the notches in the roof for the hanging brackets with a hand saw. I had to rework the teeth on the side parts and the front with a file, because it's difficult to create sharp-edged inner corners with a round cutter. Reworking, assembling, and painting are still time-consuming tasks, but they're worth the effort for people who enjoy tinkering. The parts are all glued together, and some parts have additional screws (see drill holes). The roof is also glued, but it's secured with small steel nails for safety. I screwed the flap in the back wall with small screws. I believe that everything else can be understood by carefully studying the photos.
