When the Khalifa burst onto the market it was the gold standard of cargo haulers. Over time however as demand for massive product transport skyrocketed its container ironically fell woefully short. The clever minds behind belters were quick to respond with the Vizier. Rather than discarding the still highly modern concept of the Khalifa they took what worked and amplified it in a big way, creating a behemoth of a vessel with an incredibly impressive load capacity, far exceeding that of even its top category rivals.
