The M10 Knob and bolt cup enables mounting a Vixen Super Polaris (CG5 LX75) on a surveyor's tripod. To make the azimuth adjustment functional, you need to create a tab. A piece of scrap aluminum was tapped for a hole; subsequently, a hole was drilled in the tripod deck allowing for screw attachment.
