Vixen dovetail Clamp for Tube rings.
thingiverse
The adapter I built for my Meade 6600 performed flawlessly, leading me to replicate the design for another telescope - an Orion Astrograph 203mm/800 (8" f/3.9). I intend to utilize this same setup with my Spaceprobe 130ST as well. Unfortunately, both of those telescopes feature a single 1/4-20 hole per tube, so I created a support system to maintain stability, incorporating additional components for extra security. The Astrograph's supports are 30 mm wide, while the Spaceprobe's measures 25mm in width. This design fit perfectly, aside from one minor adjustment: I trimmed down the lower section to prevent it from interfering with the operation of the bolts. To recreate this project, you'll need the following components, which can be easily customized using OpenSCAD: * A 1/4-20 screw (preferably 1 inch in length, featuring a button head) * Two M8 screws to secure the clamp * An M8 tap (I recommend the harbor freight drill/taps for their exceptional performance on 3D prints, although they may not work as well on metal) This setup has proven effective in holding a Celestron Travel 70 telescope securely in place.
