This is a versatile 1.25" nose astro camera mount designed specifically for use in conjunction with a Vixen dovetail system. It provides ample clearance for a Ø70mm lens or camera body, making it an ideal choice for astrophotographers who require unobstructed views of the celestial expanse. Three strategically placed 1/4-20 threaded holes enable direct mounting to a photo tripod, allowing for effortless repositioning and stable image capture. To secure the mount in place, two 3mm self-tapping screws are required. Alternatively, M3 or 4-40 threads can be used with a tap or sufficient force to ensure a sturdy hold. In response to user feedback, an updated version of this product now features two Picatinny rails for mounting a reflex sight and green laser pointer, further enhancing its utility and versatility in various astrophotography applications.
