Rear lens caps for Vivitar/Soligor interchangeable-mount lenses are available for use when a mount is not fitted. This tall version is designed for wide-angle lenses with a protruding rear element and works seamlessly with Vivitar TX and T4 lenses, as well as Soligor T4 lenses. This updated design features a two-piece construction, resolving the issue of the original one-piece version wobbling on surfaces unless the base was perfectly flat. The smaller piece fits snugly inside and requires gluing in place, creating a central recess in the base that allows the cap to sit steadily on any surface.
