Vive Tracker Belt Loop

Vive Tracker Belt Loop

thingiverse

This is a simple system for attaching HTC Vive Trackers to your belt for full-body-tracking purposes. It may also work for attaching other items elsewhere if you have the right straps. There's another tracker belt loop on Thingiverse, but it didn't make inserting the belt easy due to lack of chamfers and cut up the belt. I didn't like its orientation either, so it wasn't an option. My enormous leather belt (35mm wide!) wouldn't have worked with this design either. I've included a FreeCAD file that you can adjust if needed. Sketch003 defines the size of the belt holes, so be sure to add some slop to allow the belt to move freely. This system requires a fitting belt made of something flexible like Nylon. You'll also need a 1/4" x 1/2" bolt for this design. I created it with a 61820 bolt from Lowes in mind, so your results may vary.
