Manufacturers insert controllers into a cradle and also lightly snap them in place. These controllers are designed to be compatible with controller covers. To secure the controllers, use 6-32 screws for locking purposes. The piping used is 1-1/4" PVC schedule 40. Note that due to tolerance stack requirements, you may need to sand down the part so it can slide smoothly onto the pipe. This design does not require additional support.
