VIve Pro Thin Face Interface
thingiverse
This makes the Vive fit better if you have a narrow face, so it doesn't flop around when moving your head. It clips into place and works well with the OEM foam. Directions: Print the interface upside down as shown in the STL file. Remove the face foam from the Vive. The original foam has a little plastic tab that sticks out to help center it - that will need to be clipped off. Line up the top (forehead part) of the interface with the Vive, then push each cheek end over the cheek edges of the Vive. It should just clip into place with a little pressure. Optional: Before attaching, add a strip of adhesive-backed Velcro (fuzzy side) to the right and left sides of the interface (where the depressions are) to stick it to the Velcro on the Vive (I found this unnecessary, but it may depend on your print). Add adhesive-backed Velcro (rough side) to the interface for the foam gasket to stick to (as shown in the picture). The adhesive on my Velcro didn't stick to the PLA all that well; it might help to sand the area with fine sandpaper first. 2019-12-10 update to *interface2_015*. Smoothed out the design.
